The most famous Chinese tea from the Province of Anhui, west of Shanghai. The leaves are plucked with great attention, and the tea consists of more or less equal, elongated leaves of twisted shape. The tea has a uniquely sweet taste, not bitter, with a pleasant aroma. The colour of the beverage is reddish-brown, and due to the low caffeine content it is great for drinking in the afternoon and evening. It is a great accompaniment to spicy Chinese food.
